      As the founder and president of Mattingly Security Inc., I’m proud to lead a company that has consistently set the standard for excellence within the security industry. Mattingly Security Inc. began with a simple, but powerful idea — to deliver unmatched excellence in everything we do. This vision has guided us as we have grown. We now protect thousands of people every day, while securing billions of dollars in assets.

     Our mission has always been clear: To provide the highest level of protection for our clients' property, employees, guests, and other interests. By doing so, we have been blessed to create an environment of opportunity and growth for our own employees. Since our founding in August 2001, Mattingly Security Inc. has been built on a foundation of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality. Our growth here in Kentucky and abroad has been extraordinary. We are always open to doing business with new clients. Mattingly Security Inc.      Before founding Mattingly Security Inc., I had the privilege of serving in various roles that shaped my approach to security. My career began with the Federal Government and the Department of Military Affairs, where I worked as a Security Specialist. These positions provided me with specialized training and certifications in Weapons of Mass Destruction Awareness, Hazardous Materials, Firearms, the Use of Force Continuum, OC Sprays, Active Shooter Awareness, and vehicle, baggage, and personnel searches. I am also a Certified Homeland Protection Professional (CHPP), a designation I earned through the National Domestic Preparedness Coalition. This certification represents my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and emergency preparedness. These experiences also required me to hold government security clearances, which allowed me to work in high-stakes environments. As my experience grew, so did my desire to reshape and redefine the security industry. In 2001, I did just that when Mattingly Security Inc. came to fruition. 

     One of the most defining moments of our story came in 2005 when I had the opportunity to be part of the Presidential Security Support Detail during President George W. Bush’s visit to Louisville, Kentucky. Since then, I am proud to say that we have served our local communities by securing local festivals, events, and other large gatherings. Over the years Mattingly Security Inc has routinely secured and patrolled a plethora of businesses, construction sites (the largest ones in North America), real estate, and various high-tech facilities. These experiences have been invaluable and highlights our unmatched commitment to providing top-tier, lawful, security services while also emphasizing ethical behavior in every situation. 

     Beyond my professional security officer training, I have been a dedicated student of martial arts since 1989. I’ve also had the honor of serving as an instructor for Prevention and Awareness, Anti-Rape, and Self-Defense courses. In 2009, I was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame and named Martial Arts Instructor of the Year. My martial arts background has instilled in me the importance of discipline, precision, and continuous improvement—principles I’ve applied to Mattingly Security’s operations.
